My best friend, Ginny K. Harris

GINNY K. (MARTIN) HARRIS, 47 OREGON - Ginny K. (Martin) Harris, 47, of Oregon died Friday, June 15, 2007,

in Rochester, Minn. She was born March 14, 1960, in Rockford to James and Delores L'Heaeurx Martin.

She was a customer service representative with GC Waldom for 22 years and with LKG for 3 years.

She also was assistant manager of Avenue in Rockford. She served as president of Rockford Industrial Athletic Association for many years and enjoyed bowling, frogs, cooking, camping, fishing and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Manuel) Chavez; son, Michael Chris Harris; grandchildren,

Anjel and Olivia Chavez; and father, James Martin, all of Mount Morris; brothers, Gary (Tena) Martin of Mount Morris and Greg (Rebecca) Martin of Rockford; and many very special friends. She was preceded in death

by her mother; grandparents; and sister, Gody Jacobs. Memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23,

in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. Seventh St., with the Rev. Randy Snider officiating.

 

Since heaven has become your home, I sometimes feel so all alone.

And though we now are far apart, You hold a big piece of my heart.

 

I never knew how much I’d grieve, When it was time for you to leave.

Or just how much my heart would ache, From that one fragment you would take.

 

God lets this tender hole remain, Reminding me we’ll meet again.

And one day all the pain will cease, When He restores the missing piece.

 

For Jesus heals each tiny part, That holds your memory in my heart.

This tearful heart reminds me of When He’ll unite us with His love.
