Originally a European Audio Connector design, these DIN Connectors have found acceptance in computer

and other electronic connector applications. A combination of reliability and economy has prompted their widespread adoption. We now offer DIN Connectors are now offered in two series. The original “E” series

is of Japanese origin...a factory with a world-wide reputation for quality. The new “ET” series is a lower

cost product from Taiwan, also carefully selected to meet exacting qualification and incoming

inspection standards.

E SERIES - JAPAN
The “E” Series, color: light beige, from Japan is designed to meet exacting manufacturing requirements....

ease of assembly and long-term physical and electrical reliability...particularly when subject to frequent

connect-disconnect and/or movement. Some of the particular design features:

EA and EL- Heavier gauge metal & thicker plating on terminals and structure. Better solderability.

Terminal numbers molded into insulator.

EA- Shield clamp integral in structure. Superior finish on pins provide thousands of additional reliable

connections. Plastic handle designed to cover the retention mechanism, leaving no exposed metal.

Molded-in key facilitates assembly alignment.

EL- Ground springs are well-formed spring brass with minimal tendency to fatigue and longer firm retention.

Superior fit of shells makes assembly quicker and easier. Amore rigid shell provides greater protection of

terminal connections.

The new “ET” Series, Color: Black, from Taiwan provide a fully satisfactory lower cost alternative for many

DIN connector applications. The basic design and quality of production assure serviceable performance,

and our own QC overview adds to that assurance.

Miniature DIN Connectors

These miniature din connectors (9 mm. diameter contact face) are in-line with standard contact
configuration for the type. These fine quality products are ideal for a variety of multi-pin applications

These mini-din adaptors are designed to allow you to couple two similar cables in order to extend the length.
